Day 1: Bagdogra/ NJP (Approx. 4 hours drive)

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Railway Station. You will be met with your chauffeur at parking and you will be transferred to Phuentsholing. Rest of the day in leisure.

Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
Day 2: Phuentsholing – THIMPHU (Approx. 180 kms/ 6 hours)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Check-out of your hotel, proceed to the immigration counter. Complete Immigration formalities and you will be met with your chauffeur/ guide at the immigration. You will be transferred to Thimphu.

Thimphu

Thimphu is the capital and the largest city of the Kingdom of Bhutan.The city is located on the bank of River Wang Chuu. Thimphu holds a fascinating four-day festival, held every year during autumn (September/ October).

Arrive at Thimphu and check-in to your hotel.

Memorial Chorten

On the western side of Thimphu's Memorial Chorten, a row of wooden platforms sits in the long grass. Each has been polished smooth by the prostrations of faithful worshippers who gather here in sun, rain or snow, to pay their respects to His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck (1928–1972), the Third King of Bhutan. The Chorten, with its elaborate golden peak representing the crescent moon and sun, is one of Thimphu's most striking religious landmarks. Constructed in 1974, the Tibetan-style chorten's whitewashed exterior boasts richly decorated chapels - one facing each of the cardinal directions.

Day 03: Thimpu

Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Thimphu.

Day 4: THIMPHU – PUNAKHA (Approx.120 kms/ 4 hours with en-route stop)

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, proceed for Punakha. En-Route Visit Dochu La - A mountain pass leading further into the Punakha Valley.

Arrive at Punakha visits below sightseeings and check-in to the hotel.

Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 5 : PUNAKHA – PARO (Approx. 150 kms/ 4.5 hours)

Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Paro.Arrive Paro by the afternoon and proceed for a brief sightseeing of Paro.

Day 6 : PARO

Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed to visit one of the famous sites in Paro.

Tiger Nest - From a distance, Bhutan's most iconic building seems to float, weightless, halfway up a sheer cliff-face, 900 meters (3,000 feet) above the floor of the Paro Valley. As you wind your way breathlessly up the long, steep path towards Taktsang Lhakhang, the monastery periodically reveals itself, rising out of the forest, closer and more solid with each re-appearance.

Day 7: Paro – Phuentsholing( Approx. 160 kms/ 5 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out of your hotel, proceed to Phuentsholing. Check-in at hotel and rest of the day in leisure.

Day 8: Phuentsholing – Bagdogra( Approx. 4 hrs drive)

Breakfast at the hotel. (for early flights, packed breakfast will be served during transfer) After breakfast, transfer to the Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Railway Station to board your flight/ train back to home.

  • Deposit of 25% of the package cost at the time of booking.
  • Need 50% payment of the package cost, 30 days prior to departure date .
  • Need 100% payment of the package cost, 15 days prior to departure date.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • 10% of full tour cost - 45 days prior to arrival.
  • 25% of full tour cost - 30 days prior to arrival.
  • 50% of full tour cost - between 15 & 29 days prior to tour.
  • 75% of full tour cost - between 14 & 7 days prior to tour.
  • 100% - within 7 days prior to tour.

Important Notes:


  • Travel document required Indian travelers wishing to visit Bhutan need to carry either
    • Adults - Valid Indian Passport or Voters ID card (anyone)
    • Students - above 18 years of age Valid Indian Passport or Voters ID card (anyone)
    • Child - below 18 years of age Valid Indian passport / birth certificate (anyone).

    The accompanying children can also travel with original birth certificate (reflecting the name of the child) along with School ID card and a letter from the School Principal.

  • Rates valid for Indian Nationals only, (Rates not Valid for OCI, PIO, NRIs and Foreign Nationals)
  • Tourists desirous of going beyond Thimphu and Paro (for example Travelling to Punakha) need to acquire a Route Permit’ from the Royal Govt. of Bhutan Immigration/Permit Office at Thimphu on any working days (Monday to Friday). Immigration/Permit Office remains closed on Saturday/Sunday and Public Holidays
  • Entry Permit & Route Permit for travelers entering Bhutan by surface via Phuentsholing. The Entry permit issued on arrival at Phuentsholing, need to acquire a Route Permit’ from the Royal Govt. of Bhutan Immigration Office at on any working days (Monday to Friday). They need to complete biometric formalities at Phuentsholing town before travelling onwards in Bhutan.

    Permit Office at Phuentsholing is closed on Saturday, Sunday and Govt. Holidays, Please plan your travel accordingly. No Permits will be issued on Saturday and Sunday. If Travelling on Days when Immigration is closed, Traveller can obtain E-permit if having Valid Indian Passport with Minimum 06 Months of Validity. For Indian visitors, travelling with a passport, we can obtain their E- Permit in advance which is valid for all destinations. We require colored passport copy at least 15 days prior to the date of arrival in Bhutan, in order to obtain this E-Permit.
