Tour Details

Heart of Himalayas is Indian pristine beauty. Heart of Himalayas tour starts from Delhi and ends at Delhi passing through extreme beautiful destinations of Leh, Nubra valley, Ladakh, PangongLake and stupendous hills..

Leh is the most well-known city of Ladakh. Surrounded by towering mountain ranges and serene lakes, it offers a very different tourism experience to visitors. With its dry and barren landscape enlivened by the colourful Buddhist monasteries, Leh creates a magical travel experience.

The Nubra valley itself lies at an altitude of 3,150 metres above sea level (it is lower than Leh). Diskit monastery is the largest gompa in the valley, it was built in the fifteenth century on the side of rocky hill. It offers a spectacular view on the valley. A gigantic 32-metre-tall statue of Maitreya Buddha is located a few hundred meters away from the monastery.

Pangong Lake, situated at a height of almost 4,350m, is the world’s highest saltwater lake. Its water, which seems to be dyed in blue, stand in stark contrast to the arid mountains surrounding it. Extending to almost 160km, one-third of the Pangong Lake lies in India and the other two-thirds in China.
