Embark on an unforgettable journey in Leh, beginning with your arrival and acclimatization on Day 1. Experience the rich culture and heritage of Ladakh on Day 2 as you visit Sindhu Darshan, Thiksay Monastery, and Hemis Monastery, marveling at their architectural splendor and historic artifacts. Day 3 offers an adventure to Khardung La, the world’s highest motorable road, followed by a camel safari amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Nubra Valley and a visit to Disket Monastery. Conclude your trip on Day 4 with cherished memories of Leh’s majestic beauty as you depart for your onward journey.
In the morning, board your flight to Leh. On arrival a Go2ladakh representative will meet and you and transfer you to your hotel in Leh. Proceed for check-in at your hotel. Remainder of the day will be for rest to acclimatize.In the evening visit to visit to Shanti Stupa, Leh palace & Market. Stay overnight in Leh. (O/N at hotel Dekiling Leh / Meal plan (B,D)
After breakfast drive to Sindhu Darshanand about 7 kms from Leh on the bank of the Historical Indus River. Later proceed to visit Thiksay Monastery located on top of a hill; the Monastery is an excellent example of Ladakhi architecture. This contains several Stupas, Statues, Thangkas, Wall Paintings and a large pillar depicting Buddha’s teachings. Later continue to drive to visit Hemis Monastery, which was built in 1630 and It houses some beautiful Wall Paintings, Thangka and several other historic objects. Back to Leh. Stay overnight in Leh. After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Post-lunch, enjoy the camel safari at Sand Dunes between Diskit & Hundur Village. Visit Disket Monastery and Maitreya Buddha (O/N at hotel Hunder Lodge & camp / Meal plan (B,D)
