    Day 1ARRIVE DELHI

    Upon arrival at New Delhi airport, after you clear immigrations and customs you are met by our representative and assisted with your transfer to your hotel.

     

    Delhi, a delightful paradox of the old and the new, quickly overwhelms the visitor with its myriad charms. Being a vibrant cultural melting pot and shaped by the influence of different powerful rulers over hundreds of years, the destination has acquired a character with many different shades for the traveller to explore and experience. If Old Delhi assails the senses with its age-old traditional bazaars and choc-a-block serpentine streets, New Delhi casts a spell with its pristine colonial-era landmarks and well-maintained monuments.

    Day 2DELHI – LEH BY FLIGHT

    Today early morning breakfast, you fly to Leh.

    Meeting and assistance on arrival and Transfer to your Hotel.

    Leh is one of the two districts situated in Ladakh, the other being the Kargil District to the west, in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India. With an area of 45,110 km2, it is the second largest district in the country (after Kutch, Gujarat) in terms of area. It is surrounded on the north by Ghanche District (Gilgit-Baltistan), a small border with Xinjiang, China, by the Karakoram Pass which is part of the district. Aksai Chin and Tibet are to the east, Kargil district to the west, and Lahul and Spiti to the south.

    Today is complete rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 feet/3500 mtrs).

    Day 3Leh

    Today Morning day start with fresh mood visit

    Hemis which is dedicated to Padmasambhava, what a visitor can observes a series of scenes in which the lamas, robed in gowns of rich, brightly coloured brocade and sporting masks sometimes bizarrely hideous, parade in solemn dance and mime around the huge flag pole in the center of the courtyard to the plaintive melody of the Shawn. This tradition is revived with the music of drums and the performance of the sacred “Cham” dances by the lamas from the monastery.

    Day 4LEH – NUBRA BY ROAD (150 KMS/05 HOURS)

    Morning after breakfast at hotel.

     Drive to Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area. Nubra passing thru Horzey & Gangles Village.  The road then rises to reach Khardungla (5602 Mts.) the world’s highest Motorable road & enjoy the landscape & the beautiful bird’s eye view of the Leh town. 

    Proceed to Hunder Check-in at Hotel/Camp, freshen up & later you can have a. Don’t forget to Double Hump Bactarian Camel ride click this unique mammal, found in cold Desert. It was once used to carry the trade material on silk route.

    Overnight at CAMP

    Day 5NUBRA (HUNDER-TURTUK–TYAKSHI–HUNDER) (02- 03 HOURS DRIVE)

    After an early Breakfast at CAMP, drive towards Highest Motorable Road of The World, KhardungLa Pass. Have a cup of Tea there, get yourself clicked with the Khardungla Signboard by BRO & proceed towards Turtuk- the Land of Baltis, which was under control of Pakistan before 1971 War between the two nations. You may like to visit 16 century Mosque and Minaret, Royal house of Yabgo dynasty, Ruin palace of Pun Khar, Historic polo ground.

     

    Return to NUBRA and Dinner at CAMP

     

    Overnight at Camp

    Day 6NUBRA - PANGONG LAKE (260 KMS/ 06 HOURS)

    In the morning explore Deskit, Hundar, Later drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok Village crossing Durbuk and Tangste finally reaching The beautiful Pangong lake. Arrive and relax at CAMP.

    Pangong Lake is an endorheic lake spanning eastern Ladakh and West Tibet situated at an elevation of 4,225 m. It is 134 km long and divided into five sublakes, called Pangong Tso, Tso Nyak, Rum Tso and Nyak Tso.

    Day 7PANGONG LAKE – LEH (225 KMS/06 HOURS)

    Today an early breakfast, drive to Leh via crossing the Chang-la pass (altitude: 17370 ft.), Afternoon reach at Hotel. Day free at leisure or explore Leh Bazaar.

    Overnight stay at Hotel.

    Day 8LEH – LAMAYURU – LEH (115 KMS/02 HOURS ONE WAY)

    Today day tour to Lamayuru by road.

     Enroute visit Rizong Gompa. It’s a small Gompa situated deep inside a narrow valley. Rizong is among few monasteries in Ladakh which houses women monks called “Chomos”. Situated just below the main Gompa, called as “Julichen”. Drive to Lamayuru, passing thru the villages of Nurla & Khaltse and on arrival, visit Lamayuru Monastery, one of the earliest seats of lamaistic learning and most picturesque monastery in Ladakh. The oldest monastery of Ladakh. The Lamayuru “Yangdrung” Gompa is remarkably built on a rock, around 125kms. West of Leh, on the Leh Srinagar highway. 

     

    Evening return to Leh. Overnight at Hotel

    Day 9LEH – DELHI BY FLIGHT / DEPARTURE

    After breakfast, In time board flight to Delhi with assisted transfer to Leh airport.

    Arrive Delhi and proceed for a combined city tour New Delhi and Old Delhi

    Qutab Minar Built and restored in phases by different rulers, the Qutub Minar is a soaring 73 metre tall minaret and one of the most stunning structures in the country.

    You will pass through India Gate, an Arc-de-Triomphe style archway built as a war memorial in the honour of 60,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died in the Afghan wars and the First World War.

    High on Raisina Hill stands the Rashtrapati Bhawan or the erstwhile Viceroy’s House. It is larger than Versailles. The Presidential Palace is flanked by the identical Secretariat buildings ‘North’ and ‘South Blocks, which are colloquially called the corridors of power. The Parliament House, built in a circular coliseum design, is the place where the constitution of independent India was drafted.

    In old Delhi Visit, drive past RED Fort and Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), India’s largest mosque, also built by Shah Jahan. Take an interesting walking tour through the famous bazaars of Chandni Chowk, which is adjacent to both the Fort and the Mosque.

    After dinner transfer straight to Delhi Airport to board your flight for onward destination with sweet memories of this magical tour.
