    Tour Details

    This is one of the most popular treks in the world. The trekking trail goes through Sagarmatha national park- a world heritage site. The trail takes you to Sherpa villages, several monasteries, Stupas and into the Garden of Himalayas. This is the best destination for Nature Lovers & Adventurers.

    Everest Base Camp Trek starts from Lukla (Kathmandu to Lukla by Flight) and follows a beautiful river called Dudhkoshi and passes through several Sherpa villages. Sherpas are ethnic group of people living in the high himalays and are famous for Mountain Climbing. Namche Bazaar is the largest village in Khumbu region. Here has several Souvenir and clothing shops, Cafe, Internet, Better lodges, Money Exchange Counters, ATM, etc. Indeed, People in this region are nice and very friendly. Along the route, some of the villages have old monasteries to visit around. At Namche- there is National Park’s head quarter office. And little up from Namche Bazar you have first best view of Mt. Everest 8849m. From Tengboche (next destination after Namche), all the mountains are closer and you even can see them from your own bedroom or Dining hall. Moreover, you can see Sunrise & Sunset view from here, making you feel like You Are in Heaven on Earth!

    The path continues to ascend to villages of Pangboche, Pheriche, Dingboche and finally reaching Khumbu Glacier. Hence after, the path folows the Glacier, first to Lobuche then to Gorakshep and finally EVEREST BASE CAMP! From Everest Base Camp you’ll have a spectacular view of Khumbu Icefall and several high mountains on the surrounding. You’ll be surrounded by high mounains all of them over 7000m including Mt. Everest & Lhotse.

    Beside Everest Base Camp you’ll have a best view point- Kalapatthar (5550/ 5643m). From here you can get 360 degrees mountain view including awesome view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori, Ama Dablam, Tabuche, Lobuche Peak and many more Himalayan views to behold.

    Itinerary

    Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m)

    We’ll welcome you at the Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu (only international airport in Nepal at this moment) and transfer you to the Hotel. It would be 20-30mins drive to the Hotel. Upon arrival we’ll have welcome drink (Tea/ Coffee with some snacks) and escort to your room. You can freshen up and get some rest before for a short briefing from our Company Representative. He’ll introduce you next day’s flight time, things to put in luggage, things to put in hand carry bag, and  also inspect your readiness on Trekking Gears, etc. If you are lacking some gears then you can buy it in Kathmandu.  

    Evening time we’ll visit Thamel Market and will have dinner there. A must visit place in Kathmandu.

    Day 2Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2651m)

    After having a breakfast at  your Kathmandu Hotel we’ll transfer you to Domestic Airport for Lukla Flight. It would be 35mins adventurous flight in a small twin otter plane fitting max number of people just 21.

    Lukla Airport is regarded one of the most adventurous Airport in the world. After arriving Lukla and meeting our crew members at the Airport, you’ll have a tea break while they prepare the luggage to carry. We’ll have short introduction of each other and our guide will brief about the route, scenery & people. Hence, we’ll start our trek. Today’s route is easy one, at the beginning would be going downwards and then gradual upwards. We’ll be passing by some villages, Chhortens, Suspension bridge, etc. It would be a interesting and enjoyable walk to Phakding village where we’ll stay overnight in a lodge

    Day 3Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

    After good sleep and healthy breakfast we’ll prepare to start our day again by crossing a suspension bridge over a beautiful dudh koshi river. Today’s route would be much ascending trail with beautiful views of Valleys, Villages with Sherpa people and we also will pass by some monasteries, waterfalls etc. It would be a beautiful day. Don’t forget to recharge your Camera as you’ll be taking several photos today. At monjo we’ll be checked our Trekking Permits and other relevant documents to enter the Sagarmatha National Park. The route will continue to a forest just before Namche. The forest is quite large and needs at least two hours to trespass it, all the way climbing up and finally reaching Namche Bazaar town. It’s largest village enroute to EBC.

    Day 4Acclimatization Day at Namche (Visit to Eveerst Hotel)

    Today we’ll have more relaxing day and making ownself more comfortable with the altitude. Here your body might will show some reactions to the high altitude making you feel uneasy. But don’t worry our professional guide will tell you how to co-operate with the high altitude. He’ll also suggest you what you should do and what shouldn’t.

    Today we’ll walk bit higher up to see more mountains and valleys. Possibly we’ll walk to Everest Hotel which is around 2hrs walk from Namche. From here the view is superb and you’ll have a glimpse of Mt. Everest

    Day 5Namche to Tengboche (3870m)

    Today would be kind of V shaped walk. Tengboche is much snaller village than Namche but it has an old monastery where you can visit and meditate for a while. From Techboche Ama Dablam mountain looks very close, touchable distance. Overall, it would be a nice walk and soothe your mind with a meditative posture inside ancient monastery

    Day 6Tengboche to Dingboche (4360m)

    It would be a gradual upwards walk through Pangboche village. We’ll have some rest and lunch at Pangboche before heading towards Dingboche. Dinboche is a very beautiful village with a lot of picture opportunities.

    Day 7Dingboche Accimatization (visit to Chhukung or Nangkartshang Peak)

    Today we’ll walk to Chhukung Village which is about 2.5 hrs walking distance. Or another option would be hiking up to a Nangkartshang Peak.

    Day 8Dingboche to Lobuche (4940m)

    Today we’ll be walking slowly through the meadow with snow peaks on the surrounding. The first half part would be pleasant walk but later half part would be slightly harder because of much ascending route. We’ll be walking slowly with taking our pace and longer breathe, often with a pause. The surrounding is superb. You can’t resist taking pictures of beholding beauties of the nature. Our guide who is also good at taking pictures will help you to take group photos often. Lobuche is a tiny village just underneath Lobuche Peak and on the bedside of Khumbu Glacier.

    Day 9Lobuche to Gorakshep- EVEREST BASE CAMP (5364m)

    Today would be an exciting day for you and for everyone because this is the day you have been looking forward since long. Your dream is coming true today. Yes! You’ll reach Everest Base Camp,5463m!! After having healthy breakfast at Lobuche we’ll start our journey towards Gorakshep and further to Everest Base Camp. Gorakshep is the last settlement where we’ll be staying overnight. So, after arriving Gorakshep we’ll have lunch and put our bags in our room the will head towards Everest Base Camp. After several Photos and Selfies at Base Camp we’ll be back to Gorakshep for night shelter and some food.

    Day 10 Gorakshep to Kalapatthar (5545m/ 5643m)- Pheriche, 18-20km

    Today we’ll walk early morning to catch the Sunrise. We’ll be walking to Kalapatthar. It’s famaous for it’s views of Everest and Sunrsie. It’s not easy walk to kalapatthar as the route is mostly going upwards and the cold weather penetrating through your jacket and skin. Though the effort is much rewarding. And after all, it is once in a life experience.

    After Kalapatthar and having good breakfast we’ll walk downwards to Pheriche.

    Day 11Pheriche to Namche (3440m)

    Today would be bit longer walk. The route would be mostly downwards except V shaped ascend. After reaching Namche you can have nice shower and reward yourself with a Nice Dinner.

    Day 12Namche to Lukla (2860m)

    Today also would be slightly long walk to Lukla. Would be repeating all those beautiful valleys, waterfalls, Chhortens, Monasteries. It would be your second chance to take pictures if you have missed it while going upwards on the second day.

    Day 13Fly back to Kathmandu

    Our crew members will assist you to reach the Airport and say “See You Again”. In Nepal, we don’t have a word saying “Goodbye”

    Day 14Namche to Lukla (2860m)

    Today we have a free and relaxing morning to recall your beautiful memories. You can use your relaxing time to write postcard or visit souvenir shops or you even can visit Pashupatinath Temple or Durbar Square, etc.

    And depending on your flight time we’ll transfer you to International Airport (Tribhuvan International Airport).
